What are Flex fares and how do they work?
Flex fares offer extra peace of mind for your travel experience by giving you the flexibility to make a change to your booking.
Changes include the date, time, passenger, origin, destination, airport, airline, or cabin class.
How they work:
- You can request any of the changes covered under your selected fare
- You can only request a change once for your booking
- You can request a change up to 24 hours before departure of the first in your booking
- We’ll cover the cost of the original ticket (including bags and seats), so if the new ticket costs more, you’ll only pay the difference.
How can I request a change or cancellation?
To request a change or cancellation with a Flex or Super Flex Fare, visit My Trips/Manage my Booking or contact our customer service.
What changes can I make with Flex fares?
You can make the following changes to your booking with the Flex and Super Flex fares:
- One passenger name
- Travel dates and times
- Origin and destination (including airport)
- Airline
- Cabin class
You also get 2 additional benefits:
- No service fees for changes to your booking

What is the difference between the Flex and Super Flex tiers?
Flex and Super Flex allow you to make the same changes to your booking, but with Super Flex you can cancel your flight for any reason and we’ll refund you 80% of your flight booking. You must cancel up to 24 hours before departure of the first flight in your booking.
Do Flex fares allow me to make multiple changes to my booking?
No. You can make any change, including date, time, passenger, origin, destination, airport, airline and cabin class (as indicated in the Terms and Conditions found in your confirmation email), but you can only request a change once before departure. Any additional change requests will not be covered by Flex fares.
Is there a deadline for making changes to my booking under Flex?
Yes. You can request the change up to 24 hours before the departure date and time of the first flight in your booking.
If you’ve rebooked a flight, it must depart within 60 days (before or after) the original flight’s departure date.
Do I need to pay fees if I want to make changes with Flex or Super Flex fares?
No. You won’t pay any service fees to make changes to your booking. We will cover the price paid for the flight ticket, including any seats and bags added to the original booking.
However, you will have to pay the difference in price (including airline penalties) if the new ticket costs more.
Do Flex fares apply to all airlines and flight classes?
Yes. Changes can be made to all airlines and flight classes, but depend on availability, meaning the tickets for the rebooked flight must not be sold out.
Do Flex fares cover last-minute or same-day changes?
No. All changes must be requested up to 24 hours before departure of the first flight in your booking.
Can I upgrade from Flex to Super Flex after I’ve made my booking?
No. Unfortunately, upgrades are not allowed once your booking is confirmed.
How long are Flex fares valid after purchase?
Flex fares are valid up to 24 hours before the departure of the first flight in your booking.
