Correcting an error in a name or updating a legally changed name
If you need to correct an error in a name you provided, or if one of the passengers’ names has legally changed since booking (for example, by marriage, divorce or similar), we won’t charge you any fees. As your travel agent we will act as your intermediary, and try to act fast to liaise with the airline or hotel on your behalf, where possible. If we consider that it is better that you contact the airline directly, we will recommend you to do so.
Please let us know of any changes you need as soon as possible to allow enough time before your trip. This is especially relevant as an airline may deny boarding if the name on the ticket does not match the ID presented at the airport.
Be aware that the final decision will depend on the airline or hotel. While hotels tend to accept this type of change, some travel companies have internal policies that might block this type of request. In any case we will do all we can to liaise with the airlines or hotels and try to have your name corrected.

Transferring air tickets to another passenger
If you want to transfer your ticket to a different person altogether, we recommend you consult the airline or hotel’s own terms and conditions first. Most airlines do not allow you to transfer a ticket from one person to another, although some of them may allow it for a fee.
If they do allow it, please note that there may also be a Opodo fee for this service. If you purchased our Standard or Premium Service packages, Opodo won’t charge you, but there may still be a fee from the airline or hotel.
