Have you received an email from Ryanair asking you to verify your identity? Here's what you need to know to complete the process and manage your booking.
Ryanair may require passengers to verify their identity for various reasons such as:
- Managing check-in
- Complying with safety and security regulations
- Sending important updates
- Proceeding with a refund
If you receive a verification request from Ryanair, you can do this online or at the airport. If you choose to do this at the airport, you must go to the Ryanair desk at least 2 hours before departure and check-in fees will apply.
There are two options for online verification:
A: Express Verification (fee of £/€0.59)
With this option you’ll get access to your booking in 2 minutes. You’ll need to take a photo using Ryanair's facial recognition tool and upload a photo of your travel ID.
B: Standard Verification (free)
With this option you’ll get access to your booking in up to seven days. You’ll need to complete the Customer Verification Form, upload your signature and travel ID.
Once the verification is successful, you'll be asked to confirm the email address you used when booking to ensure that Ryanair can reach you for important updates.
Completing the online verification process with Ryanair is an important step to manage your booking and ensure that your trip goes as smoothly as possible.
The verification process may change without prior notice, so it's your responsibility to stay informed on the latest requirements by checking Ryanair's website. If you have any questions about the verification process, you should contact Ryanair directly.
