It may be possible to get a refund on your tickets but it will depend on many different factors. You are required to cancel your flights if you wish to request a refund of your ticket. Go to MyTrips to request the cancellation of your flight(s):
If you wish to cancel, your refund will be determined by the fare conditions. The fare conditions are applied by each airline and can be different per airline, and also can vary depending on the price you paid for that particular flight. Most budget tickets are generally non-refundable. Also, you may be offered with alternatives such as vouchers or the ability to rebook, instead of a cash refund.
Flight disruption
If the airline cancels your flight, then the airline should offer either an alternative flight or a full refund. You will be able to confirm your choice through our app!
If the cancellation occurs when you are at the airport, you may also be entitled to compensation from the airline, so you should ask at the airline desk. Particularly for Europe where flights are covered by the EU flight delay and cancellation compensation (EU Regulation 261/2004).
If your flight is cancelled due to the bankruptcy of the airline, the possibility of getting a refund will be conditional on a legal process, whose procedures will vary depending on the country where the airline is based, and possible instructions from the airline. Normally there is a lengthy legal process, and often involves a long delay in reimbursement or may even result in no reimbursement at all. You should check with your insurer or card issuer to see if they provide any cover.
In these cases, once we have more information about alternatives and/or refunds, we will contact you as soon as possible at the same email address used in the original booking, to let you know what you can do.
Please note that our agents might not be able to assist you further with your refund request if you have not been contacted by us previously.
